This week, we’re checking out Rice Street Thai, a casual Thai restaurant in the city of Bell Gardens.

“I know probably 85% of our customers by name, so they become part of my family,” owner Jack Wonkchinda said. “I think that’s what makes a restaurant successful.”

For seven years, Wonkchinda has been the restaurant’s proud owner, sharing his Thai culture and cuisine with the community.

Order traditional dishes like Pad See Ew and Tom Yum, a tasty hot and sour soup.

Or, try something new, like The Rice Street Noodle, a rice-free noodle combined with chicken, shrimp, and a variety of vegetables. It’s full of flavor.

For dessert, you’ve got to order the mango sticky rice.

People come from near and far for the rice, mango, and coconut milk combo that looks more like artwork than dessert.

Bite into savory samplers for the table, and plenty more to explore on the menu.
