The free mini-concert quickly attracted fans who used their cellphones to record videos of the show, which quickly went viral on social media.
Bieber, dressed casually in a white t-shirt and shorts, was backed by a small band of musicians playing acoustic and electronic instruments.
The set list included the songs “Speed Demon,” “All I Can Take,” and “Yukon.”
Hours after the concert, in a post on X, Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman described the performance as “a testament to the progress we are achieving to take back the park from drug dealers and enliven it for families – he’s definitely on the invite list for next year’s Labor Day weekend picnic!”
