COMPTON, Calif. (KABC) — A chase involving Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies ended in a crash in Compton after the fleeing vehicle collided with two other cars.

The crash happened just before 2:30 p.m. near Santa Fe Avenue and Myrrh Street.
After the crash, the suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Deputies took them into custody after a foot chase.
The number of suspects was not immediately available, and authorities have not said why they were being pursued.

An ambulance was called to the scene for those involved in the crash. The number of victims and the extent of their injuries were not immediately known.
