ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) — A special retirement took place at Disneyland this week as Benny the security dog hung up his harness.

The special pup, who is nearly nine years old, has been a cast member for the last six years.
Benny’s handler, Kevin, says he’s known for his big smile.
At his retirement party, Benny ate his first hog dog since he no longer needs to be on a strict diet.

As for Benny’s future, he will go home with Kevin and enjoy his new retired life with a dog that Kevin already owns.
