CERRITOS, Calif. (KABC) — Family and loved ones are remembering a teenager who was gunned down outside a Chick-fil-A in Cerritos over the weekend.

They gathered Sunday night for a vigil in honor of Darnell Hones. The 15-year-old was shot and killed Saturday afternoon following a fight near the restaurant at Los Cerritos Center.
That’s where the group of loved ones gathered and placed candles.
Meanwhile, the investigation into the deadly shooting continues. Further details, including a description of the shooter, have not been released.
