The incident happened on May 12 at the location on West 17th Street, according to police. Video from inside the restaurant, which was shared on the Santa Ana Police Department Instagram page, shows the woman arguing with an employee behind the counter before aggressively throwing her bowl of food at the worker.
Investigators said the woman, who appears to be between 18 and 25 years old, fled the scene through a nearby shopping center.
