SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) — Investigators are looking into a series of small fires in Santa Ana after a man suspected of arson was taken into custody overnight.

The fires happened near the area of South Standard Avenue and McFadden Avenue around midnight, according to the Santa Ana Police Department.

Multiple vehicles were set on fire. Firefighters responded to a burning semi-truck cab, a motorcycle and a trash can, among other items.

The suspect was taken into custody on Grand Avenue. An investigation is ongoing.
