Shooting at Tarzana home leaves man critically wounded; witnesses uncooperative, LAPD says

TARZANA, LOS ANGELES. (CNS) — A man was critically wounded in a shooting inside a Tarzana home, authorities said Monday.

The shooting was reported at 11:20 p.m. Sunday in the 5000 block of Palomar Drive at Palomar Place, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson.

The man was taken to a hospital by ambulance, the spokesperson said. No one else was injured in the shooting.

The person who shot the man fled the scene and remained at large. A description of the shooter was not immediately available.

The circumstances that led to the shooting were unknown.

The victim and multiple witnesses were being uncooperative in the investigation, according to the LAPD.
