EAST HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Traffic came to a stop at the busy intersection of Sunset Boulevard and Edgemont Street in East Hollywood as a man vandalized a Waymo driverless vehicle on Saturday.

Los Angeles police say they arrived to find a shirtless man on top of the self-driving car in the middle of the intersection shortly after 1:35 p.m.
Video from the Citizen App shows the man on the crushed windshield of the Waymo, holding a bent windshield wiper while screaming at the sensor on the top of the vehicle.

Traffic had to come to a full stop as the Waymo was stopped in the middle of the street.

It’s unknown if anyone was inside the Waymo when the destruction started.
Officers arrived at the scene and arrested the man for vandalism.
