Adva Lavie, also known as Mia Ventura, was arrested Tuesday night in Beverly Hills but details about the circumstances leading up to her arrest were not available.

According to inmate booking information, she was booked on a felony-level charge and was due back in court Thursday.

It’s not her latest brush with the law. Back in March, she was ordered to stand trial on six felony charges.

A Los Angeles model accused of meeting men online and burglarizing their homes was held to answer on six felony charges.

Prosecutors allege that from 2023 to 2025, Lavie used dating apps and developed friendships to rob, steal and extort wealthy older men and younger women in Westlake Village, West Hollywood, Los Angeles and Beverly Hills.

“At her trial, we will prove beyond a reasonable doubt that this defendant exploited trust built through online relationships to gain access to victims’ homes and steal from them,” Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman said at the time.

Lavie previously pleaded not guilty to all charges and was released from custody with an ankle monitor. She was ordered to stay away from the named victims.

But then in May, there was another twist with billionaire and former California gubernatorial candidate Stephen Cloobeck was arrested after turning himself in on an outstanding felony warrant for alleged violation of dissuading or intimidating a witness or victim of a crime.

Cloobeck’s arrest is connected to an investigation involving an L.A. model accused of extorting men she met online. The two are romantically linked.

A criminal complaint against Cloobeck accused him of attempting to prevent at least two victims from testifying against Lavie, who Cloobeck has been romantically involved with.
