SACRAMENTO (KABC) — Some wildfire survivors are urging state lawmakers to oppose limits on how much private utilities must pay if they are found responsible for catastrophic wildfires.
The group argues that the proposed limit does not help prevent future fires.
Members said three companies caused three of the five most expensive wildfires ever recorded.
