Bicyclist killed by hit-and-run driver near 710 Freeway on-ramp in Paramount

PARAMOUNT, Calif. (KABC) — A search is underway for a driver who hit and killed a bicyclist near the 710 Freeway in Paramount and then drove away.

Investigators say the victim, only identified as a man, was hit near the Rosecrans Boulevard on-ramp around 11:40 p.m. Thursday.

The California Highway Patrol responded to the initial call just before midnight Friday, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department joined the investigation to gather evidence.
