ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) — Pedro Pascal, the star of “The Mandalorian and Grogu,” made a surprise appearance at Disneyland this weekend.

On Saturday, the actor donned the armor of the Mandalorian and put on the helmet. Then, as guests entered the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run ride, Pascal took off the helmet to reveal himself to lots of surprised gasps and screams from the guests.

He then took time to speak with the guests and take pictures.

“The Mandalorian and Grogu” made its world premiere on the red carpet, bringing some of the franchise’s most popular characters from streaming to the big screen.

Pascal was later seen enjoying a show at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, along with “The Mandalorian and Grogu” co-star Sigourney Weaver, director Jon Favreau and creator Dave Filoni.

“The Mandalorian and Grogu” opens in theaters on May 22.
