ANAHEIM, Calif. (KABC) — A Metrolink train stopped in Anaheim due to a mechanical issue on Saturday evening, forcing the evacuation of over 100 passengers.

Anaheim police specifically said the train lost power, causing there to be no air conditioning on board.
Metrolink said train 1858, which was heading from San Clemente to downtown San Bernardino, came to a stop near Orangethorpe Avenue and Glenview Avenue around 4:30 p.m.
Video from the scene shows a large crowd of passengers gathered on the sidewalk in a neighborhood after being escorted off the stopped train by workers. Several fire trucks and ambulances responded to the scene.

Initially, Metrolink said some 500 passengers were on board at the time. In a later update, Anaheim police said there were 150 people aboard.
All passengers were able to self-evacuate, and several people were treated for heat exhaustion and difficulty breathing, according to fire officials.
A new train was sent to pick up the passengers and take them to their destinations.
