CULVER CITY, Calif. (KABC) — A police pursuit in Culver City resulted in multiple pedestrians being struck or injured Tuesday evening, authorities said.

According to the Culver City Police Department, the incident unfolded just after 7 p.m., when officers chased a vehicle through Culver City and into Los Angeles. The Los Angeles Police Department assisted Culver City officers during the chase.

Officials said multiple pedestrians were hit or injured during the pursuit. Several people were taken to the hospital, but none of the injuries were considered life-threatening.

The suspect was taken into custody following the pursuit, police said.

Authorities have not released additional details, including the conditions of the victims, what prompted the pursuit, or how many pedestrians were affected. Police also could not confirm whether any officers were injured.
