CLAREMONT, Calif. (KABC) — A driver was injured Friday afternoon in a crash involving two big rigs that shut down lanes on the westbound 10 Freeway in Claremont.

The crash was reported at about 4:07 p.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway at Indian Hill Boulevard.
AIR7 was over the scene as Los Angeles County firefighters extricated one of the drivers from the cab of a big rig. The driver was placed on a stretcher and taken to a hospital.

The cab sustained extensive damage in the collision.
Traffic backed up as freeway lanes were closed following the crash. However, at least two lanes were later reopened.
