INGLEWOOD, Calif. (KABC) — <\/span>A woman was found fatally shot and a man was hospitalized after a car slammed into a beauty salon in Inglewood, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded at 9:07 p.m. to the 4400 block of Lennox Boulevard, near Hawthorne Boulevard, in Inglewood, regarding reports of a shooting. Witnesses told deputies they heard shots at the intersection prior to the vehicle in which the victims were traveling in crashed into a building, said sheriff’s Deputy Tracy Koerner, a spokesperson for the agency.<\/p>\n

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by L.A. County Fire Department paramedics, sheriff’s homicide Lt. Daniel Vizcarra said. She was not immediately identified.<\/p>\n

The second victim was taken to a hospital in an unknown condition.<\/p>\n

Homicide detectives were sent to the scene to investigate the cause of the crash.<\/p>\n

News video showed a gray Dodge Charger on the sidewalk in front of the building on the corner of Lennox and Hawthorne boulevards.<\/p>\n
