(KABC) &#8212; <\/span>We now know the cause of death for a man who was found dead inside an Azusa police car back in March.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/orangecountymoversreport.com\/?p=634\">Driver, passenger airlifted after Tesla plunges 300 feet off Mulholland Hwy in Malibu<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner says Eric Valencia died from hyperthermia, or overheating.<\/p>\n<p>The 37-year-old was arrested in late March and booked for DUI and child endangerment. Valencia reportedly had a blood alcohol level more than twice the legal limit.<\/p>\n<p><strong>SEE ALSO: Bodycam video sheds new light on death of man whose body was found in Azusa patrol car<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><svg><\/svg><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span><span><span>The Azusa Police Department released body camera video in the case of a man found dead in an unlocked out-of-service patrol car outside of the Azusa police station.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>On March 23, the day of his release, surveillance footage shows Valencia getting into an unlocked, out-of-service patrol car parked outside of the police station.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/orangecountymoversreport.com\/?p=632\">Plan to convert San Pedro senior care facility into addiction recovery center draws pushback<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Over the course of several minutes, the video shows Valencia opening the back door of the SUV, climbing inside and eventually shutting the door behind him. That was the last time police believe Valencia was seen alive.<\/p>\n<p>His body was found three days later, and his family demanded answers.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There were no signs of major trauma observed on Mr. Valencia, his body. Investigators learned that Mr. Valencia had been reported missing to the Azusa Police Department just hours before his discovery.
