SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) — <\/span>A brush fire dubbed the Sandy Fire broke out in Simi Valley on Monday.<\/p>\n

Multiple structures were seen burning in the area.<\/p>\n

The blaze spread quickly in the 600 block of Sandy Avenue, according to the Ventura County Fire Department. The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.<\/p>\n
