HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — <\/span>A man abandoned his exotic snakes along the Hollywood Walk of Fame after fleeing when Los Angeles police officers tried to contact him.<\/p>\n

LAPD posted images of the snakes on Instagram, after officers had to handle the snakes on Hollywood Boulevard.<\/p>\n

The department says their Hollywood vice officers noticed a man parading exotic snakes around for tourist money. When they tried contacting him as he walked past the Hollywood Wax Museum, the man “slithered” away, but left the snakes behind.<\/p>\n

The snakes were placed in a bin by officers and delivered to L.A. Animal Control.<\/p>\n

It’s unclear what type of snakes they are.<\/p>\n

LAPD’s Vice Unit has been around for a while. It focuses on policing high-concentration areas like Hollywood Boulevard, typically handling things like prostitution, narcotics, and nightlife regulation. Add to that– snake wrangling.<\/p>\n
