TUSTIN, Calif. (KABC) — <\/span>Neighbors in a Tustin neighborhood were shocked when Drug Enforcement Administration agents descended on a home and searched the property Wednesday morning.<\/p>\n

AIR7 was over a home on Brisbane Court in Tustin as several personnel stood in the driveway. The federal agency was also reportedly at another location in Irvine.<\/p>\n

In Tustin, neighbors said agents arrived at the home around 6 a.m.<\/p>\n

By late afternoon, agents had cleared the scene, but a bright red notice remained posted on the front door. The sign stated that a clandestine laboratory for the manufacture of illegal drugs and or hazardous chemicals had been seized there.<\/p>\n

Items visible inside the garage included materials such as Firmapress, which is used to make pills. For hours, DEA agents wearing masks were seen entering and leaving the house, often carrying boxes that were loaded into their vehicles.<\/p>\n

Eyewitness News was told that the home did not have furniture inside. Residents described the investigation as surprising and said they had not noticed anything unusual or suspicious before Wednesday.<\/p>\n

“We share a wall, and I have a lot of windows that overlook it and they are just quiet,” neighbor Elizabeth Silane said.<\/p>\n

Another neighbor, Jenny Legg, said she’s still in shock.<\/p>\n

“I wouldn’t expect it in this neighborhood,” Legg said. “Just didn’t expect it when I went for my morning walk… You never know who your neighbors are.”<\/p>\n

The DEA is not releasing many details on the investigation, such as what they believe was allegedly being manufactured in the home.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Field Division said the agency can confirm that DEA personnel were conducting an ongoing drug enforcement investigation at multiple locations in Orange County.<\/p>\n

Officials said no further information is being released at this time because the investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not said whether anyone was taken into custody.<\/p>\n
