(CNS) &#8212; <\/span>A 47-year-old man was charged Wednesday in connection with a fireworks accident last Fourth of July in Buena Park that killed an 8- year-old girl.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/orangecountymoversreport.com\/?p=1332\">Ciclavia team gets word out on upcoming Hollywood event<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jasmine Nguyen of Anaheim was at the home of Earl Decastro with her mother and 7-year-old sister for a party in the 8000 block of Cornflower Circle, near the intersection of La Palma and Stanton avenues, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n<p>Decastro is accused of igniting fireworks in front of his home for more than an hour before setting off an illegal $400 firework in the shape of a cake as a &#8220;grand finale,&#8221; prosecutors said.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><svg><\/svg><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div><span><span><span>An online fundraiser has raised tens of thousands of dollars for the family of an 8-year-old girl who was killed in what authorities described as the misfiring of an illegal fireworks display on a residential street in Buena Park.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The firework &#8220;malfunctioned&#8221; and exploded aerial mortar shells into the driveway where his guests were watching the display, prosecutors said.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/orangecountymoversreport.com\/?p=1330\">Trump administration sues California, Virginia over new gun laws<\/a><\/p>\n<p>As some of his guests dashed into Decastro&#8217;s home to escape the mortars, a stash of fireworks near Jasmine exploded, prosecutors said.
