NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — <\/span>A stabbing suspect was taken into custody following a standoff with police in Northridge, which forced residents in the neighborhood to evacuate Friday morning.<\/p>\n

The incident unfolded around 2 a.m. when police were called to a home on Wystone Avenue over a family dispute, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.<\/p>\n

A victim police described as a brother was stabbed. They were taken to the hospital and are expected to be OK.<\/p>\n

The suspect then barricaded himself inside and homes nearby were evacuated. It’s unclear what their relationship to the victim is.<\/p>\n
