LA PUENTE, Calif. (KABC) — An investigation is underway after authorities discovered fireworks at a home in La Puente overnight.

Agents with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) served a search warrant at the home on Del Valle Avenue, the federal agency confirmed.
During the operation, they seized “multiple amounts of drugs.” Several boxes containing fireworks were also found.

Limited details have been released so it’s not clear how much explosives were actually discovered in the home.
However, investigators say there is no threat to the community and there is no need for residents to evacuate.
