NORTH HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — All four people found dead in a North Hills murder-suicide have been identified after the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office released the name of the woman who is believed responsible.

Marine Basmajian, 30, shot and killed her husband and two children before turning the gun on herself, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The husband was identified as 31-year-old Khajag Basmajian. The other victims were identified as Ella Basmajian, who was only six days old, and 2-year-old Alec Basmajian.

A murder-suicide in North Hills has left four people dead, including a newborn and a 2-year-old, in a case that has shaken the neighborhood.

Officers found the family of four inside their home after responding to reports of a shooting on Londelius Avenue last week.

One neighbor, Florence Barreras, who lives next door, said she did not notice anything unusual the night of the shooting. The last time Barreras saw her neighbor she was still expecting her new baby.

An investigation into the shooting, including the motive, is ongoing.
