SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (KABC) — A brush fire dubbed the Sandy Fire broke out in Simi Valley on Monday.

Multiple structures were seen burning in the area.
The blaze spread quickly in the 600 block of Sandy Avenue, according to the Ventura County Fire Department. The cause of the blaze was not immediately known.
