ENCINO, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Burglars smashed their way into a home in a quiet Los Angeles neighborhood early Friday morning.

At about 1 a.m. Friday, the homeowner, who was out of town at the time, noticed on his surveillance video system the suspects smashing their way in through sliding glass doors in the back of the house. An alarm alerted police.
Police responded to the 17500 block of Emelita Street in Encino shortly after but the burglars were in and out in a matter of minutes.

The Los Angeles Police Department said there were three suspects, wearing all black clothing, that escaped through the broken sliding door. It was not immediately known what was taken.
The homeowner’s father told Eyewitness News that this was the third time this house was hit by burglars. It’s not clear if it was the same crooks.
