MID-CITY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A driver slammed into a California Highway Patrol cruiser early Saturday morning on the 10 Freeway in the Mid-City area.

The crash happened just before 2 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the freeway at La Cienega Boulevard.
The officers were investigating another crash involving two cars when they were rear-ended, according to CHP.

Two officers had minor complaints of pain.
One person was arrested, but the reason for the arrest was not immediately unknown.
