PORTER RANCH, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A memorial display honoring the victims of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks is drawing visitors to Shepherd Church in Porter Ranch as the nation prepares to mark the 25th anniversary of 9/11 on Friday.

The installation features 2,977 flags placed outside the church, representing each person who died in the attacks. The church covered the entire corner of Rinaldi Street and Corbin Avenue with the memorial walk, creating a space for the community to reflect on the lives lost.
