CLAREMONT, Calif. (KABC) — A semi-truck crashed into the center divider along the 210 Freeway in Claremont, forcing the closure of lanes on both sides of the freeway Monday morning.

The incident was reported on eastbound lanes near Baseline Road shortly before 1 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
Details about what led up to the collision were limited, but the wreckage was blocking the carpool and two left lanes of the eastbound side, as well as the westbound carpool lane. The CHP said lanes would be closed until further notice.

Reports indicated that oil spilled onto the roadway.
Meanwhile, the driver of the big rig was also reportedly taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
