LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Nearly 6,000 unhoused people could be affected by security plans for the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, according to a new report.

The report estimates that 5,975 people are currently living unsheltered within 1 mile of Olympic venues across L.A. County.
That figure is more than three times higher than the county’s preliminary planning estimate.
