HOLLYWOOD, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — A Hollywood dim sum restaurant was burglarized for the second time in one week, a setback the owner says has been especially difficult for the small family business.

Surveillance footage shows a man using some type of tool to quickly break the glass on the entrance door, then waits until there’s no cars in the area before sneaking into the restaurant.

The burglary happened just before 3:53 a.m. at ixlb DimSum Eats, located at 5900 Sunset Boulevard, according to the owner of the restaurant.

Police have not said what exactly was taken and are looking at surveillance video the owner provided as well as security footage from other nearby cameras.

However, the restaurant owner told Eyewitness News that the business was also burglarized on Aug. 14 at 1:38 a.m. and that in both cases the suspect stole all the tip money, multiple mobile devices and tablets for delivery platforms.
