Civil rights groups allege immigration agents used racial slurs during LA raids, report says

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Civil rights groups allege that some agents involved in immigration raids in Los Angeles last summer used racial slurs when referring to some of the people detained during the operations.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the allegations were disclosed in court filings after the groups asked a federal judge to bar agents from making stops based on racial profiling.

The report said the alleged racial slurs appear on body camera footage and in text messages.
