Supporters gathered early in the morning at the popular Argentine bakery to watch the match, with lines forming around the block as early as 6 a.m. The crowd filled the restaurant, while additional fans watched on a mobile big-screen television set up in the parking lot.
“For Argentinians, it’s more than soccer. It’s part of our culture. It’s who we are,” Sylmar resident Salma Suvia said. “It’s honestly such an honor to see them come this far.”
