STUDIO CITY, LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Water service for several dozen residents was impacted on Saturday as a large water main break flooded the street, appearing to cause damage to the roadway.

Video from the Citizen App shows water flowing through the streets, with part of Coldwater Canyon Avenue crumbled from all of the water near Woodbridge Street.
According to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP), the water main break was first reported around 4 p.m. at 4283 Coldwater Canyon Ave. An eight-inch water main made of cast iron burst.

Water main services to 40 to 60 residents were impacted, LADWP said. Service was expected to be restored by 6:30 a.m. Sunday.
The southbound lanes of Coldwater Canyon Avenue will be closed until at least midnight as crews work on a repair, officials said.
