Officers were called to West 8th Street near Kingsley Drive early Saturday morning after receiving a 911 text about a man with a gun holding someone against their will at an abandoned building.

When officers arrived, they discovered the gambling operation and detained 26 people, authorities said. Video from the Citizen app shows one person being taken into custody.
