ABC7 caught up with Los Angeles-based muralist Melanie Posner as she completed her latest work this week.

The mural, featured at SweetWater nightclub, burns bright with a story of love and representation.

“It is of two sapphic women for this sapphic club,” Posner said. “I wanted it to give the illusion of being out and about in WeHo, with the neon lighting and effects.”

Posner, who is known for her paintings of vibrant, photo-realistic woman, said she’s on a mission to create pieces that celebrate the stories of our LGBTQ+ community.

We first introduced you to her on Eyewitness News earlier this month as she unveiled artwork for ABC7’s 2026 Pride Month t-shirt.
