ARCADIA, Calif. (KABC) — A sheriff’s pursuit ended in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday evening in Arcadia, injuring a deputy and a driver of a suspected stolen vehicle, authorities said.

The incident occurred just before 7 p.m. when deputies began pursuing the vehicle. The chase continued to the intersection of Duarte Road and Temple City Boulevard, where sheriff’s officials said the driver crashed into a deputy vehicle that was blocking traffic.

Multiple other vehicles were also struck during the crash, authorities said.
Both the pursuit driver and the deputy were transported to a hospital. Their injuries were not considered life-threatening.
